It is with heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas B. Perrone of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 93. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jessie Perrone and Meleski; his wife Mary (McAllister); his children, Thomas B. Jr. (Betty) of Waxhaw, NC, Theresa of Louisburg, NC, Tammy of Matthews, NC, Trisha Sanders (Billy) of Raleigh and Tracey Hawkins (Will) of Clayton, NC.; his grandchildren, Candace Griffin, Hunter and Tristan Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Joshua Rodriguez and Braden Perrone; and his brother Joseph J Perrone of Kingsville, MD. Tom was a member of VFW Post 2423 and Pup Tent 00 of the Military Order of the Cooties. He will be missed by the comrades of Post 2423. A funeral mass was held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC. A memorial service was held at VFW Post 2423 on January 30, 2021. A plaque will be placed in the Memorial Garden near a fountain donated by the Post Chaplain. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Tom's name to the Veteran's charity of your choice.
