If you are looking for a Veterans Organization that is dedicated to assisting Veterans and their families, look no more.  You have found the right VFW Post. 

If you served in a combat zone then you qualify to join the VFW.  Refer to the Resources Tab, Eligibility-VFW  page for all eligible medals and ribbons, application, and other information.  Post 2423 annual dues are only $40.00. A Life Membership is also available. 

We are a smoke free Post and very active in our mission. Here are some of the activities that Post members are involved in: 

Honor / Color Guard: All members eligible, conduct Military Funerals, teach Flag Etiquette at schools, participate in community ceremonies and parades.

Harry Floyd Breakfast: First Saturday of each month, 9:00 a.m., for Comrades only.

Bring Your Own Steak Night: Post members bring own steak -- baked potato and salad provided by Post. 

Nursing Home Visits: Members visit local nursing homes and spend time with veterans. 4th Tues.

VA Hospital Visits: Members visit patients at Salisbury VA Hospital.

Bingo: Volunteers work weekly to support our customers and raise funds to support veterans.

Auxiliary: The VFW Auxiliary and Military Order of the Cootie Honor Society support the VFW mission. Both organizations are part of VFW Post 2423.
